We are looking for a highly skilled Manual QA Engineer to join our High-Frequency Trading (HFT) team. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in testing high load systems and testing in Python. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

• Functional testing of our distributed trading system
• Collaborating closely with the development team and internal users (traders, analysts)Identifying and localizing errors and issues
• Maintaining the bug backlog
• Participating in release processes (optimization time-to-market, risk management)
• Setup and maintenance test environments
• Certification (set of checks related to the exchange specifics, collection of logs)
• Test solution modelling (test design)
• Writing Python scripts as needed
• Optional: experience with message brokers
  

Requirements:

• Advanced experience in manual testing of high-load applications
• Strong theoretical knowledge of testing methodologies
• Proficiency in UNIX systems (Linux)
• Experience with Python/bash scripting and SQL, Git
• Knowledge of WebSocket and HTTP protocols
• Understanding of REST principles
• Analytical thinking and ability to solve complex problemsIndependence, responsibility, and proactive attitudeExperience in trading system (integration with exchanges)
• Optional: SBE/FIX protocols
